A Different Show, A Different Day

Josh and I took the kids to a PBS show today. "Between the Lions" is a children's program that features lion puppets to foster early literacy. The live show was very cute and feature Theo the Lion, and his daughter. As well as a kooky hen and back-up singer puppets. A librarian also read the book, "Click Clack Moo Cows That Type". The best part for me however, was the Rastafarian musician that played for the children. Who can resist dancing with their kids to a Bob Marley song? Just awesome!

Caleb had a lot of fun and danced and roared in the front row. But mostly he sat on my lap- he was a little cuddly! Which I enjoyed. Even Emmaline was engaged in the show. So much so that she growled a very robust roar at the show's start. How fitting ;)

The rest of the evening Caleb walked around the house carrying the goodie bag he received, pointing out all of the lions on the promotional picture he received, and telling Josh and I that the lions were "sooo cool".

The pics below show Caleb and Emmie waiting for the show to start. I think my little guy looked so handsome today! I love his "Edward" hair! I almost like it enought to forgo the haircut that was planned for this weekend.

Pictures after the show of us fraternizing with the cast. Caleb was a little shy of the characters, which surprised us since he was exuberant around all of the costumed characters at Walt Disney World.
