Happy Third Birthday Caleb!

It's Valentine's Day and that means Caleb is officially a year older! I can't believe he is three already! It is strange to the think how fast time has passed, but at the same time to think about how much he has changed in a relatively small amount of time. Three years ago today, he was small, nine pound little bundle who depended on Josh and I to do everything for him.

Fast forward only three years later, and our baby has a sense of humor and is silly. He loves pirates and Disney movies. He loves fruit snacks, string cheese, and dehydrated blueberries. He like me to read him books. He loves to play with Play-doh. He like to play with his Mr Potato Head with Josh and I. He can run, climb, do a flip, and hop. He thinks there are monsters in his room , so he sprays them out every night with Oust. And I think monster is his first site word since he can pick the word out anywhere- even on an energy drink at the grocery store. He can have a conversation. He is stubborn and likes to test his parent's resolve. He is typically sweet and loving to his little sister unless there is a favorite toy involved. He likes to snuggle on my lap and he gives everyone a hug and kiss each night with an "I love you". For his age, he has pretty good manners, he says "thank you", "please", and "excuse me" without a lot of prompt. He is very independent and wants to try to do it all himself, including changing his clothes and putting his shoes and socks on, which he does a fairly good job of! Where ever Caleb goes, his blankie goes with him. And finally, he has grown from 9 lbs, 20.5 inches to a boy of 45 pounds and 44ish inches. He is a big boy and it is funny for us to think about how big he will be as an adult!

Happy Birthday Caleb, we love you very much! Always and forever.

Here is our boy eating his Valentine's Day candy! I couldn't get a better shot, he doesn't stay put long enough for the camera to capture his image!
