Bowling for Birthday

Caleb wanted a "real" birthday party this year. Meaning, he'd been invited to a couple of parties that had taken place at fun places, so he no longer thinks dinners with grown-ups is the best way to celebrate. So we threw him a small party at a bowling alley in Michigan. He bowled a few rounds, but really he was to distracted by the cake and presents to focus. It was The Incredibles themed, and Emmie ran around the bowling alley with his Incredibles balloons.

It was a fun afternoon though, and once his tears dried (hey it's his party, he can cry if he wants to) he kept saying how he "loves friends and presents". Apparently, you must buy my son's love! Just kidding- but it is so funny to look at the world through the eye of a three-year-old.

Here a a couple of pictures. I forgot the SD card for my camera.

He's not looking to happy here. Those presents just NEEDED to be opened, no more waiting please!

Wanting to have his cake and eat it too!
