The 3 Ring Circus

And no, I am not talking about the one that seems to have a daily showing in my living room. Rather, I am talking about the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus that my mother and I took the kids to last night at the new arena in downtown Toledo!

We got there early in order to get situated in our seats and then check out the pre-show down on the stage. Caleb got a clown nose and met a couple of the funny guys as well. He was having a fine time until the man on stilts whizzed by us unexpectedly and startled us. After that, he insisted on waiting for the show to begin in the safety of his seat with his snow cone.

The circus was a lot of fun and included seven crazy dirt bike riders who rode all at once in a tiny steel cage. Emmie was very interested in the show- the lights, sounds, colors, and people were all very interesting to her. Caleb was having fun, but right before intermission the late night caught up with him. He said, "Ok, all done. Let's go now." It was so funny. The poor guy was tired, so we left at intermission.

It was a lot of fun though!

Caleb with a clown whose clothes coordinated! He was a little creeped out, as he should be! Clowns are half funny / half wierd.

Caleb modeling his nose and enjoying his slush from the clown stine.

Emmaline dozing, just before we made the decision to leave. My mom had to keep feeding her crackers since Emmie literally threw her pacifier 3 rows down into the dark abyss of seats.
