Princess Puke

Little Emmie is unfortunate enough to have issues with GERD as Caleb had as a baby. Essentially, Emmie has bad reflux and what goes down inevitably comes back up. We have affectionately nicknamed her "Princess Puke" in honor of her constant spit-up, all the while maintaining her cuteness.

Adding to wet factor- Emmaline is teething. A lot. So she has a LOT of drool. Which seems to make her reflux worse. So at her six month pictures today (okay so she is over seven months old. I am a bad mommy when it comes to pictures!) we were lucky enough to preserve two milestones. That of Emmaline sitting up on her own, and that of her GERD and drool in action.

The moment we pulled into the mall parking lot, Emmaline spit-up copios amounts of drool all over her pretty dress. I should have waited to dress her at the mall, but we were running behind as usual so I took my chances and lost. Note to self- for nine month pictures remember to bring a hair dryer for quick drying.

Despite the wardrobe issues, we got some cute pics of Emmaline. It was hard work though. Emmaline was NOT amused by the photographer and would freak out if she so much as attempted to touch Emmaline. Or come near Emmaline. Here are the best:
