Emmie- all dressed up on New Year's Eve with no place to go! Oh well, she was cute and even Caleb remarked that she looked "like a Cinderella princess".

Caleb bowling my turn on New Year's Day in Lake Orion. We met my parents, grandmother, brother, and my aunt and uncle there for some friendly competition. My Uncle's inner Polak shined and he proved himself a good bowler. My dad tied with him on another game. Chris did well too. I was happiest to beat Josh at both games, even if it was by a mere point or two each time!
We spent the night in Lake Orion, and the next day went on a spree at the Great Lakes Crossing Mall. So many bargains to be found and so much fun for me! We ended the day with dinner at the Rainforest Cafe- a favorite. The food is only average, but it is more of an attraction and always makes us feel that we are on more of a vacation than just an overnight trip!
