Josh and I took the kids to the zoo this past Sunday. We weren't planning on going during a holiday weekend, but Caleb asks us everyday to "go see the animals, the monkeys, and the dinosaurs". It was a little crowded, but not too bad. It was sunny and warm, but not hot, so overall a perfect day. We rode the carousal and the train as always and Emmaline go to ride on an animal for the first time ever. Normally I sit on a bench with her. Caleb was really excited to see the herpetology house. We told him that the snakes and lizards were dinosaurs' cousins. He thought that our zoo has the automated dinosaurs like the Detroit Zoo. I think he liked the lizards best! We prolly won't get to the zoo again with daddy until the Lights Before Chrstmas, so it was nice to have one final family day there.
