Adventures in Walt Disney World

We decided to pack the family into the minivan and drive down to Florida to spend a week at Disney last week. At first, Josh was skeptical about spending seven nights at the World, however, we are going back next fall!! Needless to say we all had a great time! We went to all of the parks, did a lot of rides and shows. The kids were awesome, never had a big behaviour issue. Caleb was fearless. He rode Goofy Barnstormer (a kiddie coaster), Pirates of the Carribean, The Haunted Mansion, and more. Emmaline would get real excited to see colorful characters at the shows. Caleb got to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody, and Mickey, and well a LOT of his heros. We had a lot of dinners with characters, so it made meeting them easy. We even had dinner with Cinderella and her crew and by the end of the night Caleb was calling any female in a dress "princess". How cute is that??

Disney is like Vegas for families. It is exciting, there is something for everyone, you can always find something to do, there is even plenty of drinking to be had for the parents. ;) Josh and I loved DownTown Disney which is a huge mall/restaurant/outside entertainment/bar/club area. It was nice to walk around with a drink while shopping all of the stores and being amongst the palm trees.

Here are just a FEW of the HUNDREDS of photos that Josh took! We payed Disney to photograph us as a family in several areas in the parks, so when I get that cd-rom from them, I will post some more. The first is Caleb with his favorite heros, Caleb and Daddy riding Dumbo, Josh and I leaving the Magic Kingdom, Caleb with Stitch at the Polynesian hotel, Calen riding R/C at our Hotel (Toy Story character), and Emmaline in her Minnie dress chewing on a spoon while waiting for Mickey to come see us (Daddy bought her the ears since he insisted that she needed something more since I forgot her bow)!
