The Greatest Job of All

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of my mom friends for sharing the awesome job that being a mother is. You have all helped me to be a better mom by helping me to keep things in perspective, sharing a laugh, giving great advice, and a times being a shoulder. Thank you. I was once unfortunate enough have a friend who said she couldn't understand why women list their children as an acomplishment. Although I knew her statement was short-sighted then, it wasn't until I was a mother myself that I realized how ignorant it really was. Being a mother is best accomplishment of my life, and not because I am incapable of doing anything else- but because it is the most tiring, challenging, heart-warming, selfless, and rewarding job I have ever and will ever have. Thanks for being my "colleagues".
