My Toddler is freakin' Crazy

I so wanted to post a picture of Caleb having a whirlwind melt down today, but he couldn't stand in one spot long enough for my camera to focus in on him. It was so shockingly horrible that I could do little else but laugh hysterically at him. It was classic- crocodile tears, blood curdling shrieks, indiscriminate kicking, hyperventalating, wails of "NO", and throwing of the sippy cup. I thought Satan himself was going to burst through my living floor to reclaim his only son....

So if you're wondering by now, yes, adjusting to his baby sister has been an "experiance" for us all. Maybe I am being to generous on myself, but I truly feel that I am doing a fair job of giving him attention. No matter though, this kid will now do anything for it. Such as eat the bindings off of his books. Yes, buying Caleb books is an indulgence of mine so when I see him turn his growing library into a snack I about lose my mind! I have had to repair 7 books with packing tape so far.

The problem that I am having is deciphering where to be firm and stick my ground with him and where to cut him slack considering what he's going through. Tricky!
